Maestro Dobel 50
A gold tequila crafted from 100% agave and aged in French Oak, American Oak and sherry barrels was created in honour of Maestro Dobel's owner's 50th birthday. The rigid board coffret reinforced with layers of lightweight rigid board to support the weight of its contents, is enveloped in textured paper whose shade is meant to recall the look of aged wood, a nod to the barrels used to age the spirit. The double doors are affixed with a gold metal plaque; when opened they reveal the bottle, a booklet printed in gold foil nestled in a drawer and a glass stopper. To open the drawer, the user pulls on color-matching ribbons.
Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost & Rare
For the launch of eight Scotch whiskies of which three were sourced from ghost distilleries Johnnie Walker created a coffret made of premium gray board enveloped in fine art paper that depicts a map of Scotland. To give the map texture, glass varnish was applied with the location of each ghost distillery highlighted in screen-printed script, while the other distilleries stand out thanks to gold foil. The bottle is nestled in a drawer whose sliding mechanism makes it easy to pull. A gold foil band featuring debossed lettering telling the story of the whisky is wrapped around the drawer.

Bacardi Carta Negra
The secondary pack housing Bacardi's Carta Negra dark rum, constructed out of recycled rigid board, doubles as a speaker. The case is covered in four-color art paper with spot gloss touches and closes thanks to two magnets: one half houses the bottle and the other the speakers. Speakers and power pack are nestled in a printed flute insert, while the mobile device fits into a recess at the back.
